The first minor claim to fame in my apartment is The Beatles. They were my first "real" introduction to popular music in the US. The song I learned was "Ticket to Ride". I remember the cover as one of those cheesy ones that made you look for mysterious stickers, with a flashy, yellow Beatles theme. Nevertheless, it was a big deal to me, since my post-exposure years would be most influenced by the music from 1964-1966, not the flashier 1970s music. I purchased the vinyl, and all I had to for the next ten years or so was to listen to the albums right away. During the first few times I attempted playing the vinyl all the way through, the album sounded very horrendous. This was because I had deliberately mated the album with the wrong needle. I eventually figured it out, but that's the album cover of all albums. Aside from the Beatles, I enjoy a lot of music from that time to this day. I still have the vinyl of Sealed with Blood, but I couldn't find the needle. I get by with these other ones:
