Bò bảy món, on menus often \"Bò 7 món\" (literally \"seven courses of beef\" in Vietnamese) is a set selection of beef dishes in Vietnamese cuisine. Multi-course meals such as Bò 7 món are representative of higher-end Vietnamese cuisine.[1]
The cooked beef portions are then wrapped (by the individual eating it) with rice paper, a variety of herbs (rau thơm'), lettuce, cucumbers, and carrots and then dipped in mắm nêm. This slightly chunky sauce is made with anchovies and has a sweet and tangy flavor, due to the pineapple that is often added to achieve sweetness. This sauce is much more pungent in flavor than its cousin, nước mắm (fish sauce), and is not homogenized, allowing the textures of the original ingredients to characterize the sauce. A similar but less popular multi-course meal is the Cá 7 Món (literally \"seven courses of fish\").
Let's feast on this traditional Bò 7 món, which translates to \"seven courses of beef.\" It's been a few years since we've done this class and we're excited to cook up this menu together again! This is a fun dining experience! In the kitchen, you will grill, broil, and steam a variety of beef dishes. At the dinner table, you'll make your own spring rolls at the table, drawing from all the different beef preparations. To round out the experience, you'll also make a beef salad to start the meal, and end with a warming bowl of congee. Seven dishes in all; holy cow, for sure! A wide variety of textures, aromatics, flavors make this memorable feast of the senses!
kientruc o developed the design the preschool first by outlining the programmatic organization. by separating the classrooms, teacher accommodations and supporting rooms across a shared yard, the team generates a layout with a centralized courtyard that hosts all activities. the courtyard offers a multi-purpose open area beneath a shady awning where children gather and play together. when school is in session, the yard is a place where siblings from the school next door gather to wait for each other before going home, an outdoor classroom, and a communal space for local festivals to take place throughout the year.
The Seven Course of Beef is fun; the Famous Baked Catfish is a near obsession. In a part of the world where Chinese seafood restaurants are everywhere, this Vietnamese alternative stands out as a one-dish wonder.
Though if the bones are too much of an issue, and a whole fish is more than you want, consider the two other catfish dishes, both catfish filets, one of which is a participatory marinated catfish filet cooked table-side in a vinegar broth.

Three of the next courses came all at once as our waitress set a dish of three different types of grilled beef sausage: the Bo La Lot, another sausage which is strongly lemongrassy and yet another which is sweet and garlicky. This is where I believe Song Huong had taken a shortcut by serving three sausages instead of varying it up a little. I would have preferred just the Bo La Lot and two other types of beef dishes to provide more contrast and variety. Perhaps a Beef Wrapped in Scallion and Beef with Rice Cracker would have been perfect here. As it was served, I thought that the three dishes were far too similar in flavour and texture to be truly considered three seperate courses.
The next course, the Hotpot, consists of a tender Beef Carpaccio which you dip into a simmering broth. The beef has been drizzled with a garlicky vinaigrette prepared with Nuoc Nam, the pungent Vietnamese Fish Sauce.
To begin assembly of a roll, you first reconstitute the dried rice paper by dipping it very briefly into a bowl of hot water. This quick bath will turn the brittle disk into a soft, pliant crepe. Leave it in the water too long and the rice paper will be too soft and will tear when you attempt to use it. Luckily, the waitress gives you more than enough of the dry rice paper so you can practice and perfect the timing of this water bath.
This trail is a lot of fun. Definitely not a good idea for beginners as the first part is mostly up hill. I was so tired at the end that I really couldn't enjoy the down hill because I underestimated it. Lots of fun if you can handle it.
Great trial for the newer single track rider. I found it to be a bit easy. However, my wife, who is new to MTB loved it. It's around 7 miles, so the distance could be a challenge for the absolute beginner. Rolling hills, minimal roots/rocks/sand.
This trail is AWESOME!! Rode it today and then turned around and rode it again!! Ended up being 12 miles but it was fun as hell. I could have done it a third time! Fun trail, awesome speed and some great drops and hills. The scenery and foliage was just spectacular too. Lovely lovely trail. Just go ride it. :)
This trail is my least favorite in Lake Norman. It is inferior to all of the other loops in the Itusi network, and it is not very technically difficult. I'd rate it beginner, though you can generate enough speed in some sections to make it more interesting.
Excellent single track. I was hesitant on how to rate this trail on difficulty because it switches direction each year. If you ride the trail clockwise it's a flowly downhill dream for the most part with a few moderate climbs. Well groomed, minimal rocks and you can definately pick up speed laying off the brakes and staying off your saddle.Riding counter clockwise (this years current direction) you're climbing those downhill so it's more technical. There are some great flow sections too and if I were in better shape there'd probably be more. Great job to the trail blazers for making such a clean technical awesome trail btw!

This is the first dish and serves as an appetiser. The boiled beef is thinly sliced, mixed with fresh vegetables such as carrots, coriander, onions, and sprinkled with peanuts. It is usually eaten with fish sauce or lemon dressing as it is quite bland by itself.
Like a small hot pot, simmering vinegar broth with slices of raw beef is served. The raw beef is very thinly sliced and only needs to be dipped into the broth for 5 seconds to cook it. At the same time, the spring rolls ingredients such as dry rice paper, a bowl of warm water, and fresh vegetables such as bean sprouts, cucumbers, shredded carrots, mint, basil leaves are given. The dipping sauce that usually provided is Nuoc Mam (fish sauce) with chillies. This dish can be eaten with spring rolls.
This is a Vietnamese version of rice porridge which serves to settle the stomach after the six hearty courses. It is made from ground beef with a handful of rice just to thicken the broth. Spices such as ginger, coriander, and black pepper were used for a flavourful porridge.

Those prawns on sugar sticks and that 2-layered catfish story! Canley Vale: no problems. A little laugh: am old enough to remember when Cabra and the Vale were Estonian [my origin] ere they became 'Indo-Chinese' :D !
OMG!! OMG!!! each of us siblings has a different \"restaurant\" i.e. the restaurant my mum craves and goes to when shes pregnant with each of us, this was mine!! I practically grew up in that restaurant!!
