Programs
We have a number of programs planned for the 2026 Black History Month.
Black History Month Activity Kit
Created by award-winning local artist Aurel Tsafack, this take-home activity kit offers community members an opportunity to engage with Black culture by making the materials and learning about the culture that inspired the kit's content.
The activity kit will be available at all Black History Month events; a limited number of kits will be available.
The 2026 Black History Month Activity Kits are sponsored by the Art Gallery of Grande Prairie.
